How to reach the UK & the venue

To & From the UK

We recommend our guests coming from outside the country to fly to London Stansted. 

The airport is located approximately 25 mi (40 km) from the venue.

The other possibilities are  quite far : London Luton Airport 72 mi ( 115 km), London Gatwick 75 mi (120 km), London Heathrow 85 mi (136 km).

If you stay in a location different than close to the venue, for example London, please look at the closest airport for you.

Arrival at the venue

The location we chose is a beautiful country estate in the middle of Essex.

Since it's in the heart of the country side, here some suggestion on how to reach the place :

  • By Car: the easiest way is to rent a vehicle and drive to the estate, in particular if you choose an accommodation nearby.  The place is located in Great Braxted, Essex, CM8 3EN.

  • By Public Transport: from London, you can easily reach the closest town of Witham with the National Rail Enquiries Welcome to the official source for trains in Great Britain | National Rail. From the train station, unfortunately, there are no busses or trains to the proximity of the venue. We suggest to take a car sharing service.

  • By Car Sharing: since the location is in the countryside, we suggest to look for the different car sharing services that the place offers, such as Uber.

Visit the surrounding

The venue is located in the charming Essex countryside, surrounded by several locations worth visiting, such as Hedingham Castle, the East coast of England and many cozy British villages.

If you are a shopaholic, a window shopper or just want a few mementos from your visit to the UK, there is the Braintree Outlet Village close by Braxted Park.

Of course, if you have the time we also strongly recommend to spend a few days in London. The Stanstead Express will take you directly to London Liverpool Street from where you can get connected to anywhere in London via the underground.
